NIHAZ started with four (4) departments, namely: Community Health (CH), Health Information Management (HIM), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), and Pharmacy Technician (PT) departments. It also offers professional diploma and certificate programs on primary healthcare and other health-related areas (with emphasis on emergency life support skills training courses). NIHAZ is working towards producing qualified healthcare professionals with balanced theoretical and practical skills.
By producing well-trained and morally upright health professionals, the school would advance public health awareness and a high standard of community wellbeing for people from all areas of life.
